Q:  What Can I Sell?
A:  We try to keep all of our sales limited to items that will bring at least $50.00 on eBay. We also try to keep items that weigh less than 100 pounds. We will be happy to discuss the sale of ANY item(s) you have to see if it's a good deal for you and us to try to sell. If you don't know how much to expect for your item, let us check for you!

Q:  Where is my stuff during the auction?
A:  We keep your items until the auction ends. If the item does not sell, you have the option of re-listing the item for an additional $1.00 commission, or you can pick your item up within 14 days after the auction ends. Any items not picked up become the property of Junk To Joy!

Q:  What If I want a Minimum Bid Larger than $1.00?
A:  If your minimum bid is other than $0.99, just pay a refundable deposit. The deposit is $10.00 for minimum bids over $0.99 and up to $100.00, and it is $20.00 for minimum bids over $200.00. Deposits are refunded when your item is sold! In addition, we pass through the eBay final value fee and any Paypal fees associated with your sale.

Q:  How Long Does It Take?

A:  Most auctions will run for 7 days. For our OverJoy pricing you can have a 3 day or a 10 day auction.  Once items are sold, paid for, shipped, received, and confirmed, we will send you a check!

Q:  What If My Item Doesn't Sell?
A:  The majority of items will sell in the first week of being listed! Our trained staff will assess and evaluate your items so that they sell for the highest possible price the first time. If an item doesn't sell the first time, we offer three different options: we can list it again at no charge, you can pick it up within 14 days, or we can donate the item to an established charity.

Q:  What Does It Cost?
A: 

Individual Item Sales

$50.00 - $200.00 Commission: 35% of the final eBay selling price.

$200.01 - $1000.00 Commission 25% of the final eBay selling price.

$1000.01 - $2000.00 Commission 20% of the final eBay selling price.

 

Non-Profit Organizations Commission 20% of the final eBay selling price

AN additional 10% will be charged to cover all fees.

Credit Card/Paypal Fees

eBay Fees

eBay charges fees for insertion of an auction, adding pictures, final value fees, listing fees, and a transaction fee. These charges are in addition to the JUNK TO JOY commission.

The eBay fees per auction, based on selling price, are:

5.25% off the first $25 ($1.31)

an additional 2.75% up to $1000 ($26.81)

an additional 1.50% of the remaining amount over $1000

Paypal charges:

2.9% of the sale price plus $.30 per transaction.
